Learning a new foreign language is a great experience. By learning Serbian language, you will be able not only to communicate with about ten million Serbs living all over the word, but also to learn about Serbian culture, mentality, customs and lifestyle. Taking into consideration about fifteen million people originally from the region of ex Yugoslavia, there is a big population group you can communicate with making interesting private or business contacts. "SERBIAN IN MY POCKET" is the study book designed for beginners, as well as for students who already have some basic knowledge. In the first lesson you will learn the Cyrillic alphabet, which follows the principle: one sound - one symbol - one letter. From the second lesson on there are fifteen situational dialogues and about twenty grammar lessons which will help you learn enough vocabulary for the basic conversation in Serbian language.
‘Serbian in my pocket’ has three components. Apart from this textbook including practice exercises, there is an audio recording for each situational dialogue, with a 25,000-word dictionary on app for your smart phones or tablet computers.
We wish you a lot of success and enjoyment in your learning.
